It's home, a 1920’s era wool store building (one of eight) along the Brisbane River. Converted warehouse spaces in previously seedy/edgy/derelict parts of town...sounds familiar! When I grow up enough to move into a proper house without heroin lights at the local shopping centre, I’ll let you know.
We had just visited our friends Kristen and Geoff (mining engineers from Vancouver) at their home in Bulimba, right across the river. Here's the ferry stop with the Woolstores in the distance (a forlorn Barbie Cinderella shoe kept us company). Mike and Mireille (from Montreal) also visited with their two week old baby, Jason. Was Kai ever so small?
